I’ve been re-reading some old Doctor Strange comics lately and just had to do an illustration of the good doctor. The giant glowing eye in the middle of his forehead is the all-seeing Eye of Agamotto, a mystical all-purpose doodad which normally rests in the golden amulet near his throat but becomes his powerful third eye when supernatural threats must be dealt with.
Wow! Quite a winter, huh? Since Christmas, my time has been spent on a secret illustration project that has finally gone to the printer. Thank goodness I was able to work on a summery project during all of the horrible weather we had this year. You know it’s been a bad winter when even a cave troll like me wants to go outside and enjoy the sunshine.
2009, you were a pain in the ass and I’m not going to miss you in the least. Good riddance! Don’t let the door hit you on the way out! Buh-bye now.
So. You can go this site and buy a plastic replica of the sad little tree that Charlie Brown bought so he wouldn’t have to get a fake tree. Am I the only one getting dizzy from the irony?
